Brian had a great year but we barely covered his expenses.  If it weren't for a couple of extremely generous people we would have come up way short.  His tuition has doubled since his freshman year.  Please send our club any amount to help cover his expenses.

Questions on how to help can be sent here.

This is one of our success stories.

Brian is in law school back in Kampala, Uganda. Follow the time line below to see some highlights of this lucky kid's time in the U.S.

Brian started his school year by traveling over 24 hours to a very strange place called Iowa.  Here Byron and Julie Tabor pick him up in Dixon, Illinois.  Brian was driven from Chicago by a Scattergood alum's parents.

Brian was able to attend the new officer installation for the Hi-CREW Kiwanis club where he got to meet some of his new Kiwanis friends.

Brian was sent to the Key Leader Camp where he made a lot of new friends.  He added a lot of Facebook friends from this event.

Brian was able to go to 4 Iowa Hawkeye basketball games.  Even though he knew nothing about basketball he enjoyed them greatly.  He never saw the Hawks lose.  Quite a feat since they had their worst season ever.

Brian attended the Marshalltown Matins Kiwanis Club's 40th anniversary party where he met former Kiwanis International President Steve Siemens.

Brian helped with a Kids Against Hunger event that was held in honor of our current International President's visit to the Nebraska-Iowa District.

Brian was able to meet Kiwanis International President, Paul Palazzolo.
